Description
A delicious twist on tradition breakfast oats.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Steel cut oats
- 1 cup Quinoa Grain
- 5 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Milk, 1% or an alternative
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tsp Agave syrup, Honey or Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Rinse quinoa if not pre-rinsed.
- Mix steel cut oats and quinoa in a pot of a rice cooker or on a pot for the stove.
- Add 5 cups water.
- Turn on rice cooker.
- If cooking on the stove: bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer until water has evaoporated. You will need to stir occasionally.

- Serve with milk, agave syrup, honey or maple Syrup and your choice of tasty toppings
