A Little Nutrition Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian with a specialization in eating disorders to join our dynamic interdisciplinary healthcare team. Our practice is growing, and we’re passionate about providing comprehensive support services that empower our clients on their recovery journey. This includes a collaborative effort from our team of dietitians, therapists, and occupational therapists, all deeply committed to the well-being of our clients.

A Little Nutrition has a position for an eating disorder Registered Dietitian
Contractor or employee position
Located locally prefered. Open to remote/virtual out of province candidates.
We are looking for someone to bring his or her nutrition expertise to the team as a dietitian working with patients living with an eating disorder.

Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced registered dietitian with skills in adult and adolescent eating disorder recovery. *specifically adolescents at this time.

The ideal candidate should feel confident collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, establishing and nurturing trust with clients, and must be highly self-motivated, impeccably organized, and dedicated to helping clients normalize their eating patterns. As well as a thorough understanding and practice of the non-diet and Health At Every Size® approach.

MUST HAVE NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE/interest to learn in a few of THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- Demonstrated knowledge of eating disorders.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies to support eating disorder recovery.
- Confidence with ones ability to educate patients and their families about eating disorder recovery.
- Understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds and experiences related to food, body image, and health.
- Ability to assess complex situations and develop effective treatment plans.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing to encourage patient motivation and engagement in their recovery process.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychiatrists, and medical doctors.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience
- Must carry malpractice insurance
- Must be in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba.

Make your own hours
We have a variety of flexible daytime, evening and weekend shifts available. The ideal candidate must be available to meet with 6-8 patients per week.
Work Virtually
Don’t let living outside Winnipeg hold you back! We are accepting applications for both in person and virtual dietitians.
Full-time office support
We have a full-time office manager to take care of client bookings, payments, scheduling, and insurance billing. Susan and her admin team love doing all the business + appointment leg work for our team of dietitians like, sales, marketing, booking, scheduling, processing payments, direct billing with insurance companies and paying rent. You can just show up and do what you do best, client counsel!
EMR – We use Jane
Say good-bye to paper charting! You will have access to our electronic scheduling and charting system. As well as, all of our our practice algorithms, templates and client tools!
Convenient office location
Our office is located St. Boniface.
Free access to dietitian CEC courses & training
We want to make sure your knowledge is cutting edge! All A Little Nutrition associates get access to free clinical training and CEC workshops on Nutrition Academy! Nutrition Academy (a division of A Little Nutrition) is an online platform for e-courses and webinar delivery that connect dietitians with the public to learn evidence-based nutrition. We are all relentlessly optimistic and keep it positive.
