Compassionate Support for Your Healing Journey with Ciji Khan, Therapist

“Thank you for wording it that way. I’m so relieved you understand my situation. It makes me feel better.” – Client dealing with binge eating, stress, and trauma

Hello, my name is Ciji Khan, and I’m a Registered Social Worker in Manitoba. I’m affiliated with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

A Journey of Over 15 Years in Mental Health

For over 15 years, I’ve supported children, families, and adults in various settings. My career began in the child welfare system, focusing on high-risk and at-risk youth. A Person-Centered, Strength-Based Approach

Life’s journey often presents challenges that require support. I use a person-centered, strength-based approach in my practice, primarily employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

  • CBT: This therapy focuses on how thoughts and emotions influence behaviors. It helps transform negative thinking patterns into more positive ones.
  • EMDR: This therapy identifies and processes triggers from past and present experiences, replacing negative thoughts with more positive ones. This process helps you navigate life more smoothly.

A Safe and Non-Judgmental Space

When seeking help, you deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your true, authentic self. It would be my honor to accompany you on your healing journey.
