A versatile recipe that can be used for waffles or pancakes
Ingredients

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Make cocoa ones by adding 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron or griddle depending if you are making waffles or pancakes
- Beat eggs in a large bowl or blender until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla until smooth
- Spray or brush preheated waffle iron or griddle with non-stick cooking spray or oil
- Pour batter into hot waffle iron or griddle. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot
